Isabel Diaz and Ramon Diaz art exhibit

Last Thursday I attended our aunt and uncle's exhibit in Altro Mondo gallery in Greenbelt 5. I came straight from class so I looked horrible (so I don't have photos of myself)

My aunt, Isabel, is my mom's eldest sister (She's the 2nd child out of the 12) and my uncle, Ramon, is my mom's youngest brother. They are both painters, but they each have their own style. My aunt likes to play around with a lot of lighting and she likes painting portraits, flowers and people in motion. Where as my uncle like to paint animals (Koi's in pond) and 3D paintings. My aunt even has a painting in the White House in Washington!

This is one of my Uncle's 3D painting. It's so cool! You look at it from one angle and as you walk to the other side the painting looks like its moving.

After-party with Maroon 5!!

AHH! Can't take it! 

I went to the Maroon 5 concert last Tuesday in Araneta Colliseum with my friends Gerard Sison (who got me in! Yay thanks Gerry!) Jeff Ortega, Natalia Ortega and 4 of Gerard's friends!

The concert was awesome! Probably lost 5 pounds dancing. 

So Gerard is friends with Maroon 5's Bassist Mickey and we were invited to drink with them at Shangrila Makati right after the concert! When we got there Adam Levine wasn't there yet but the rest of the band was. Everyone was soo much fun and super friendly! I talked to James (the lead guitarist) most! He was telling me about how he's partied so much in his life already that he was taking "break" (as he was drinking his beer haha). I was talking to one of them who was telling me all the really cool places they've been to (Brazil, Madrid, and Australia are apparently the craziest). I spoke briefly to the keyboard guy as well about how much he loves futbol and he's such a fan of Spain! Then Adam came and my knees buckled and I died. haha No, but he's really so beautiful.

I got them to try Weng-weng (HATED having to order it cause the name of the drink is so...) and we were all taking shots of Tequila too. I had to leave before I did anything I'd regret :( haha 

What a crazy night!! Such a great time!!

Pink Kurve Inner Wear

Last tuesday I attended the press launch for PINK KURVE in Mamou Rockwell

Pink Kurve offers sexy and super great quality intimate wear for both men and women. All the products available in the store are international such as Body Wrap, Le Mystère, Pull-in and Sassybax. Their shop is located in the lifestyle section of Rockwell. 

I got that red corsette-ish leotard which I super love! I actually wore it as a top and not as inner wear. 

I didn't get a photo of the Body Wrap! But it's my favorite product! It's a shapewear brand that features seamless inner wear designed to give an illusion of a sexier figure for every body type! So I can actually eat and breath without having to unbutton my shorts haha

La Union Surf Competition

We haven't been able to update our blog cause my camera broke and Jess is so busy in London but I'm going to try as much as possible to keep you guys updated! 

So the past few weekends I've been getting darker and darker cause we've been heading to La Union! My mom and her sisters actually grew up in La Union but it was my first time to go last month, and I LOVED IT! I went up with Berta and stayed with Jeff (who has the best house ever!!). Ever since then, we've been trying to go every other weekend! 

Here are a few pictures of our latest trip! Headed to LU with Jeff, Gerard and Berta for an Oakley surf competition. I didn't join it (although my goal is to one day join one haha) but we were there to support Jeff!! He qualified for the semi's! And ofcourse we've met SOO many nice and fun people. Like Kate Bosworth from blue crush has NOTHING on them. haha

Last meal in La Union. We had SUPER yummy Binagoongan Pork, Pork Adobo, Ilokano Empanadita, Bagoong Rice, Sizzling Chicken, Pancit Palabok (their specialty) in a restaurant called Halo Halo de Iloko!

If it were up to me I'd be in La Union every week! Thank you so much Jeff for hosting us every time we go!! I suggest everyone try surfing at least once! It's so fulfilling when you get to catch a wave haha And everyone in La Union is soo welcoming and eager to teach you how to surf. Can't wait to go back!
